Horse hair raku is created by taking pottery out the kiln over 1600 degrees, and laying horse hair on the piping hot surface-

The hair burns permanently onto the piece, leaving organic lines of movement.

Small Raku is approx 5"x3"x3"

***note**** raku is unable to hold water and dried floral is suggested

and also this particular vase has a paddled base, with the intention of an offset spout to create and organic feel
